What this website collects
Nothing. This website has no forms, sets no cookies, runs no analytics and does no tracking of any kind. We do not build a profile of you here or across other sites. The site is a set of static pages served from a content delivery network, which keeps standard, short-lived access logs for security and troubleshooting.
When you contact us
If you email us, call us, or book a consultation, we receive your name, your contact details and whatever you tell us. We use that information to reply to you and, if the conversation leads to work, to carry out that work. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch and, once you become a client, performance of our contract with you.
Who else sees your information
Microsoft provides our email and our appointment booking page and processes information on our behalf, under our instructions. Some processing may take place outside the UK, in which case the transfer is covered by the safeguards required under UK data protection law. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to two years from our last contact, then deleted. If you become a client, records connected with the work are kept for seven years after the engagement ends, which is the period we need for UK accounting and tax purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. To exercise any of these, email hello@joinedupdata.io and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
